The Harbourview overlooks the scenic Port Of Refuge harbour
one of the safest harbours in the South Pacific. The Harbourview boasts some of the best accommodation and gardens in Vava’u, and is situated in Koko Bay, on the shores of the famous Port of Refuge Harbour in Toula village, only a few km from Neiafu.
Built in the 1980’s and originally called Marcella’s, the hotel was one of the most popular venues in Vava’u, featuring accommodation, a restaurant, bar and nightclub.
The hotel changed hands since then, and its strong concrete foundations have weathered the test of time.
The Harbourview is now owned by William and Natalie, who purchased the hotel in 2017, and worked hard to restore the hotel to its former glory.
Nestled in Toula village's Koko Bay, we are just a short five-minute taxi drive from the main town of Neiafu where guests will find the local market, shops & restaurants. The Harbourview is ideally situated close enough to town to be convenient, yet distant enough to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep.
The Harbourview has ten spacious fales (Tongan word for 'house', pronounced fa-lay) including a two bedroom family unit, as well as two sets of interconnecting double/twin rooms - ideal for families or groups.
All rooms have private facilities, with either a double bed, or a double and single bed, sitting area, ensuite bathroom with hot shower, and large private verandah.
Each room has its own fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, and a secure locked box for guest’s valuables.
Guests can relax in the tranquil gardens with a variety of tropical flowers and trees, large mango trees & coconut palms, or enjoy a bite to eat and a fresh fruit smoothie or Tonga's own Kingdom Koffee at your Verandah Café while enjoying the unparalleled view across the harbour to Neiafu.
Bill and Natalie regret having to sell after they spent a great deal of time and money into perfecting a lifestyle for someone interested in escaping to paradise for the most trouble fee and relaxed adventure in paradise.
