1. Overview
Waidroka (fresh water in the i Taukei dialect) consists of over 300 acres of sub-divided freehold land lots of over an acre each developed by the Maui Bay Limited. Access road from the Queens Highway into the property is maintained by the said company where lot owners pay annual road levy. It is scenic, private and secluded. The boat was built as DIY project in Switzerland in 1995 and we own it since 2004. In that time we sailed it from Hamburg/Germany through the Panama canal all the way to Fiji. For 15 years it was a reliable boat and a good home to us.
Don't expect a racing boat, because it is not - the very best etmal we did was 150 miles, but normal is 100 to 120 miles a day. It was build for blue water cruising, it is easy to handle even for a small crew and simple to do repairs or maintenance yourself.
